More than 1000 from previous batches may bag MBBS seats this year
Even as the first phase of medical counselling continued for the fifth day on Wednesday, worried parents of the current batch of students have worked out a chart that spells more trouble for their wards. The calculation shows that more than 1,800 students from the previous batches have the required cut-off to get a medical seat this year which would spell disaster to the current batch as they would be eligible only for merely 400 odd seats that are left over.
