Why I Quit selling Mary Kay
When I began my pink journey, I did all the things I was told. I went to the weekly meetings, sold during the holidays, preferred customer program, paid for the website service, etc, etc. It never worked out the way I wanted and the effort and time I put in, I wasn't getting my money's worth. I stayed on as a consultant on and off over the years because, I'm not going to lie, I love the products. Then I moved far away from my director and I just gave up. I searched for another side hustle to supplement my full time teaching job and found online teaching. I did research and with my bachelor's degree and teaching experience it seemed like a good fit. One year later, I work from home and removed tons of stress in my life.
Teaching online has given me a new found freedom, it allows me to control my time, and I get to make as much money as I want.
Mary Kay was a good experience, but it's time to stop wasting my money trying to make that $250.00 order every 3 months. I quit Mary Kay because I found something that is delivers on the promise it makes and I'm not chasing people to pay me.
