Warriors’ Stephen Curry ruled out for New Orleans game
Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has been ruled out for Saturday night’s home game against New Orleans with a left knee contusion. The two-time reigning NBA MVP sustained the injury in Wednesday’s 120-111 win at Phoenix. Curry was on the court several moments before grimacing as he stood up and walked to the free-throw line. Curry, who was named Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday, has scored at least 20 points in 16 of the last 19 games he has played in, including seven of the past eight.
