Morgan Freeman has lent his voice to many films and TV series during his career, but his narration of the iconic film “The Shawshank Redemption” put him on the map as one of the greatest film narrators of all time.

After some hesitation, the actor, who has been said to have one of the greatest voices of all time, agreed — and it quickly turned into a hilarious bit.

Based on a book by Stephen King, it was released in 1994 and told the story of Andy Dufresne, a banker who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Penitentiary for the murder of his wife and her lover.
