Stephen Curry doubtful for Warriors’ game against Pelicans
Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is doubtful for Saturday night’s home game against New Orleans with a left knee contusion, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said Friday.
The two-time reigning NBA MVP suffered the injury in Wednesday’s 120-111 win at Phoenix.
Curry was on the court several moments before grimacing as he stood up and walked to the free-throw line.
Curry, who was named Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday, has scored at least 20 points in 16 of the past 19 games he has played, including seven of the past eight.
Barnes has excelled in a complementary role, averaging 5.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 21.2 minutes.
