Watch The Fall.
I'm a little late to the party on this one, so maybe you've all beat me to it, but if you haven't watched this show yet, STOP. DROP. AND BINGE. The Fall is a twist on your regular procedural show – it splits its time between following serial killer Paul Spector (dw I'm not spoiling it, you know from the very outset), and Senior Investigating Officer Stella Gibson as they play a fascinating cat and mouse game.
Gibson, played by Gillian Anderson, is totally captivating and she'll be damned if she has time for patriarchal bullshit – I have honestly lost count of the times I've paused and rewound to hear her no-holds-barred feminist commentary on being a woman in a male-dominated field and you know... general world.
Jamie Dornan is also watchable AF as Paul Spector.
I watched it for 10.5 hours last Sunday, true story.
Watch it on Amazon.
If that's not for you, check out Katherine Ryan's recent comedy special on Netflix for some proper LOLs.
