Chelsea defeated the Hammers 2 – 1 at Stamford Bridge. Eden Hazard opened the scoring early in the second half via a penalty after Cesar Azpelicueta was brought down but James Colling restored parity with less than 15 mins to go.

Chelsea were the better team all round and should have scored at least five with Conte barking instructions from the touchline.
