Mustafi’s agent Ali Bulut confirmed: “Shkodran and Arsenal have reached an agreement, the clubs now only have to agree on the fee”.
Daily Mirror states that Valencia want a huge fee of £25 million for the star.

However, Goal notes that Arsenal remain confident of signing Mustafi as transfer talks between the Gunners and Valencia continue.
Ali Bulut also stressed: “This is the only important thing for now. I cannot confirm anything [regarding how close a deal is]. This is a matter concerning only Valencia and my son.”
Recall that defender Per Mertesacker is ruled out of the club’s tour of America and could be set to face five months on the sidelines. Gabriel was injured after a challenge with Kelechi Iheanacho in the Arsenal’s 3-2 victory over Manchester City.
And Wenger notes that as Laurent Koscielny is also not fully fit, he may have to turn to the transfer market: “I’ve said many times that we are in the market. Of course it’s not an easy market for us. Let’s hope we have good news from Gabriel.”
