UW reaches $16 million mark for budget cuts
The Casper Star-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/2aXxprY ) the state's only public, four-year university has cut 97 vacant positions and seen 55 employees take advantage of early retirement and severance incentives.
UW President Laurie Nichols declared a financial crisis in June after the state slashed its financial aid to the university because of a downturn in the minerals extraction industry.
