A 50-Year-Old man, Charles Oyibo from Igbo-Etiti local government of Enugu state has reportedly beaten his wife to death over a heated argument.
The victim, Angela Oyibo, 36, was said to have had a misunderstanding which culminated with her husband he allegedly beats her to death.
According to Vanguard, Angela was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced death by doctor after failed attempt to save her life.
It was learnt that on sensing trouble, the deceased’s husband escaped to unknown destination.

Witnesses at the scene said that the deceased was beaten until she became unconscious adding that efforts to save her proved abortive.
The eyewitness said: “She was unable to raise her hands and legs; she was totally weak.
“People suspected she may be pregnant, but the doctors that attended to her before she died are in a better position to state her condition before her death.
“None of the people that rushed her to the hospital can tell what the problem with her husband that led to that kind of beating was.”

The spokesman of the Enugu state police, Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the incident adding that investigations into the incident has commenced to track down the fleeing killer.
