Bayern produced an attacking masterclass to defeat Arsenal 5 – 1 as Arjen Robben scored with just his first touch of the ball. Freekick master Willian came to the rescue again with a late trademark freekick.

Roma and Bayern Leverkusen played out another classic thriller with the Italians runing out 3 – 2 winners. Neymar scored twice to help Barcelona to a 3 – 0 victory over BATE.
