Pedro: Regular playing time at Chelsea will help increase my chances of playing for Spain at Euro 2016
Chelsea's summer signing Pedro Rodriguez has admitted he is "happy" with his start to life in the Premier League and remains confident that regular playing time at Stamford Bridge will cement his place in the Spain team for Euro 2016.
Chelsea signed Pedro from Barcelona on a four-year deal in August after the winger chose to leave the Camp Nou following restricted minutes on the pitch last term.
The Spain international subsequently hit the ground running on his debut for Jose Mourinho's side after scoring one goal and setting up Diego Costa for another in the team's 3-2 win over West Brom recently.
Despite the club then being beaten by London rivals Crystal Palace at home - which was the Blues' second defeat of the new campaign - Pedro has insisted he has no regrets about leaving Champions League holders Barcelona for Chelsea this summer.
"I am happy with how my time has started at Chelsea," he told Fifa's official website.
"When you have more minutes you can play at a different rhythm with more confidence and a different mentality.
"I am sure the move will be very good for me to play both at Chelsea and with the national team."
Pedro started his nation's Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovakia on Saturday, which La Roja won 2-0, and admitted after the match Spain's performance in the clash was one of their best since the disappointment of the 2014 World Cup.
"The game yesterday was one of the best playing in our style," he said. "There was a lot of first-touch football and we were always looking to attack against a Slovakia side that hadn't lost a game.
"It is possibly our best game since the World Cup."
