Thunderstorms, squalls, and fog: storm warning issued across Kazakhstan

West Kazakhstan Region — At night, heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the west and north of the region. During the day, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls are expected in the north, east, and central parts of the region. Fog is expected at night and in the morning in the north, east, and center. Southwest to west wind, with daytime gusts of 15–20 m/s in the west, north, and center. In Uralsk, thunderstorms are expected, along with fog at night and in the morning. Wind gusts may reach 15–20 m/s during the day.

Mangystau Region — Periods of heavy rain, hail, squalls, and thunderstorms are expected in the west, south, and center of the region. Fog is expected in the north and south. Northwest wind with gusts of 15–20 m/s. In Aktau, periods of heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls are expected, with northwest wind gusts of 15–20 m/s.

Zhambyl Region — At night in the east and mountainous areas, and during the day in the mountainous areas, rain and thunderstorms are expected. Fog is expected in the south and mountainous areas. Northeast wind, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the northeast and mountainous areas in the morning and during the day. High fire danger remains in the center, northwest, and east of the region.
