'SNL' Names Remaining Hosts and Musical Guests to Close Out Season 51
"Live from New York..." It's the lineup to mark the conclusion of Saturday Night LiveSeason 51. The long-running sketch comedy series unveiled its hosts and musical guests for the last three shows of its landmark 51st season.
Kicking off the month of May is Olivia Rodrigo, who will pull double duty on May 2 as host and musical guest. This is the multi-hyphenate's first time assuming the hosting mantle and her third time on the show as a musical guest. Recently, Rodrigo announced that her third studio album, titled you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, will be released on June 12. Hot on her heels is Matt Damon, who will host the May 9 episode, marking his third time as a host as he prepares for the release of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey on July 17. Noah Kahan will perform as the musical guest, who made his SNL debut in 2023. Kahan also has new music to promote – his fourth album, The Great Divide, drops on April 24.
Five-Timer Will Ferrell will host Saturday Night Live for the sixth time on May 16, which will be the Season 51 finale. Ferrell is poised to star in the Netflix comedy series The Hawk, which hits the streamer this summer. The actor and former SNL cast member is joined by musical guest Paul McCartney. This will be McCartney's fifth time as a performer for the show. The legendary Beatles' latest studio offering, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, will be available for your listening pleasure on May 29.
Saturday Night Live will continue its current run for the rest of April, with the upcoming episode on April 11 featuring host Colman Domingo and musical guest Anitta, whose new album EQUILIBRIVM is scheduled for release on April 16. Domingo can next be seen in the biopic Michael as Joseph Jackson, which will hit theaters on April 24. He also stars in the second season of Netflix's The Four Seasons as Danny, which is slated for a May 28 premiere.
