Yankees’ New 2026 'Chicken Bucket' Stadium Snack Is Secretly a Dessert
Every year, baseball fans wait in anticipation to see which wild stadium foods will be introduced.
For 2026, the New York Yankees might take the cake for the most bizarre new stadium food item. That's depending on who you ask, of course.
If you've ever been to a game at Yankee Stadium, you've probably had the fortune of trying some of their signature items like the MVP burger, the Lobel's steak sandwich, or the pastrami fries.
But if you have a sweet tooth and an interest in ultra-unique desserts? You may wish to try the New York Yankees' chicken bucket. At first glance, the image below looks like your standard drumsticks.
The catch? The chicken buckets are actually ice cream that gives the illusion of chicken drumsticks:
The Yankees will have a Mini Dessert "Chicken" Bucket at home games this year ????

But it's not actually chicken - it's drumstick-shaped ice cream with a chocolate-covered cookie “bone” center, a coating of white chocolate and candied corn flakes served in a souvenir mini… pic.twitter.com/moEjztRoCV
Get them while they're hot (or in this case, cold), Yankees fans.

The Yankees couldn't have asked for a much better start to the 2026 season. Saturday's victory against the Miami Marlins improved Aaron Boone's group to 7-1, matching the best eight-game start in their history.
But the rest of the AL East has left a lot to be desired. The defending AL champion Toronto Blue Jays just got swept by the Chicago White Sox, dropping them to 4-5 ahead of this week's series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Boston Red Sox entered this year with sky-high expectations, but they're 2-7 after losing their weekend series to the San Diego Padres. The Baltimore Orioles are 3-6, and the Tampa Bay Rays sit at 4-5 heading into the third week of the season.
It's still early in the season, but things couldn't have gone much better for the Yankees through the first two weeks. With the way they're pitching and swinging the bats, New York could easily reclaim their status as the top dog in the division.
