Ryan Gosling Drops Out of Top Secret Blockbuster
More than 30 years into his career, Ryan Gosling is hotter than ever.
His latest film, Project Hail Mary, is a bona fide international smash, grossing over $340 million worldwide in its first two weeks.
According to Deadline, the three-time Oscar nominee exited his next high-profile project this week, just a few months ahead of filming, due to a scheduling conflict.
Gosling was set to star in a secret film from directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. The untitled project is the duo's follow-up to their 2022 hit, Everything Everywhere All At Once, which took home seven Academy Awards.

Details on the new project from The Daniels, as the directing duo is collectively known, are being kept tightly guarded. The Universal Pictures film, said to be keeping its summer 2026 shooting dates, is now in need of a new leading man.
Gosling will next be seen in 2027's Star Wars: Star Fighter. The hotly anticipated film comes from Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy.
