Late March Kiteboarding – Ottawa river
The windaddicted enjoyed some primo conditions out on the still frozen Ottawa river at Britannia this afternoon. Solid winds, sunshine and a smooth snow cover surface made for pretty sweet rides today. Mike was the only one on the river when I arrived with his kite up and riding his Fatbike, I guess we can call this “Fatkiting”. Some serious concentration required to fly and steer the kite, he made it look very easy. Not too many more days left before ht melt starts on the river, I heard some very loud cracks well I was laying on the ice getting some low angle shots.
