MAGA influencer labels Pete Hegseth's war strategy as terrorism
Right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones criticized Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday for stating the administration would "negotiate with bombs" in the Iran war, arguing the rhetoric meets the definition of terrorism.
Jones noted the Trump administration had been inconsistent about war objectives, initially claiming to target Iran's nuclear program and missiles before President Donald Trump later stated the goal was regime change.
Jones criticized Trump for repeatedly claiming victory after just three days of conflict, suggesting neoconservative advisors and Israeli operatives were misleading the president. While defending Hegseth as a patriot following presidential orders, Jones stated Hegseth's "bomb negotiation" language "literally is the definition of terrorism."
Jones acknowledged the philosophical ambiguity of terrorism versus freedom fighting, depending on which side prevails historically, and noted that major governments routinely employ military coercion as negotiating tactics.
