Livvy Dunne Stuns in First Look at Iconic Red Swimsuit for ‘Baywatch’ Reboot
Looks like it's Livvy Dunne to the rescue, according to the first on-set images of the upcoming Baywatch reboot.
The former athlete joins Yellowstone star Hassie Harrison, Pretty Little Liars alum Shay Mitchell, Elle newcomer Jessica Belkin, and fellow model Brooks Nader for the female line-up of the '90s show revival. A lot has changed since the beach-based series first premiered back in 1989, but the cast are still wearing the same iconic — although perhaps unrealistic — red swimsuits made famous by stars such as Pamela Anderson, as shown in new photos taken from the set in Malibu.
The women of the cast are joined by TikToker Noah Beck, Arrow alum Stephen Amell, and another newcomer, Thaddeus LaGrone, who make up the male half of the cast. They're also wearing the same shade of red, this time in shorts, first modelled by David Hasselhoff back in the day. Amell is portraying an adult version of Hobie Buchannon, the son of Mitch Buchannon (played by Hasselhoff), in the new series, set to premiere as part of Fox's 2026/2027 season.
Livvy Hinted at the Upcoming Series on Instagram
Dunne dropped some hints about her role in the upcoming reboot on her Instagram this week, sharing a picture of her reading a script for the series in a red bikini — the same shade of red the original series is synonymous with.
"I’m not a lifeguard, but i play one on tv," Livvy wrote in the caption.
In the new on-set images (obtained via Page Six), the cast — all in matching outfits — posed on the beach, arm in arm for a group photo. Several cast members, including Beck, Belkin, and Mitchell, were photographed running towards the sea with their trusty rescue buoy in hand, clearly on the job.
The outlet also revealed that Dunne and Nader were undergoing "ocean training" at Venice Beach as part of their new role. “She’s a strong swimmer and has been training solo with a swim coach,” a source said of Nader.
“They’re really excited to be working together,” says our insider. “They’re having so much fun and bringing that Sports Illustrated energy straight to Baywatch Beach.”
