Chris Evans & Wife Alba Baptista Make Rare Appearance at Oscars 2026, Their First Event Since Welcoming Child!
Chris Evans and wife Alba Baptista are back on the red carpet!
The married couple, and new parents, made a very rare public appearance at the 2026 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 15) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
For the big event, Chris, 44, looked sharp in a black tux and sunglasses while Alba, 28, donned a white sage satin dress.
Keep reading to find out more…If you didn’t know, Chris and Alba have been together since at least 2022 and and married in the summer of 2023 in a star-studded wedding at their Boston-area home in Massachusetts. The couple made their red carpet debut at an Oscars party in March 2024.
In October 2025, Chris and Alba welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Alma Grace.
During the Oscars, Chris is expected to hit the stage to present an award.
The Oscars ceremony is being hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien for the second year in a row. Sinners broke a record for most nominations for a movie in a single year, with 16 nods. Check out the full list of nominees!
