Shirley Raines' Cause of Death Confirmed
Shirley Raines, often known as Ms. Shirley on social media, died suddenly earlier this year at the age of 58, and now, her cause of death has been released.
If you are not aware, the fan favorite, viral activist founded the nonprofit organization Beauty 2 The Streetz. She was known for taking care of unhoused individuals the Los Angeles area. Her viral videos often depicted her gathering food and supplies, which she then distributed to people in need.

Her daughter, Danielle Williams, confirmed to People that she passed away from hypertensive heart disease.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, “Hypertensive heart disease is a condition with damage to your heart from years of unmanaged or undermanaged high blood pressure.” They add, “In the U.S., 1 out of every 3 adults has high blood pressure. But only half of those with the diagnosis manage it well. Hypertensive heart disease is the number one cause of illness and death due to high blood pressure.”
