Cardi B and the Department of Homeland Security Are Beefing
Cardi B and the Department of Homeland Security are in a social media fight after the singer spoke out against ICE at her concert last Wednesday. TMZ reported that while on stage, Cardi said “If ICE comes in here, we gonna jump they asses…I’ve got some bear mace in the back! They ain’t taking my fans, b**ch.”
The Department of Homeland Security’s social media team retweeted TMZ’s story about the concert and joked, “As long as she doesn’t dr*g and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior.”
Homeland Security’s tweet is a reference to a 2016 Instagram Live during which Cardi said that when she was working as a stripper, she dr*gged men in order to rob them. She said she does not reference this in her music because she does not want to glorify it, saying, “I did what I had to do to survive.”
Cardi fired back to DHS, “If we talking about dr*gs let’s talk about Epstein and friends dr*gging underage girls to r*pe them. Why y’all don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?”
The Department of Homeland Security has not responded to her question.
