Prince Harry Is Trying to Ensure His & Meghan Markle’s Kids Aren't ‘Suffering the Same Fate’ as Him Amid ‘Charged’ Marital Fights

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family, people have wanted glimpses of their two children. And when Meghan started her brand As Ever, people have gotten small glimpses here and there about their kids; but it may be causing a rift. In fact, insiders claim that posts about them on social media have been causing fights between Harry and Meghan; and it’s giving Harry a lot of fears.

For those who don’t know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. Since then, they’ve welcomed two children together, named Prince Archie, born in May 2019, and Princess Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.

Archie and Lilibet have been quite private, unlike their royal cousins, and it seems Harry wants to keep it that way.

“It’s something Harry and Meghan really differ on, and the issue keeps resurfacing,” insiders told Heat World UK. “There’s no denying they both absolutely adore those kids, which is why this issue is so charged.”

“Harry’s extreme vigilance stems from his own childhood trauma. He’s still deeply resentful of the way he was over-exposed and commodified growing up, and that makes him hypersensitive about repeating any version of it with his own children. Harry genuinely sees it as his duty as a father to protect his kids from suffering the same fate,” the insider added. “In his perfect world, they’d be completely shielded from the public until they’re old enough to make their own choices. He knows that isn’t entirely realistic, especially given who they are, but his instinct is to lock everything down.”

However, Meghan is allegedly more free-spirited about it, with insiders saying “she just wants the freedom to include the children naturally. Harry insisted on hiding their faces online, but Meghan points out that their cousins are fully out there on social media and a huge part of the royal brand.”

Because of these opposing mindsets, insiders say it “led to some very tense conversations behind closed doors…While they do both want what’s best for the children, it could easily turn into a real power struggle if they’re not careful.”

It’s unclear how this will continue, but it’s very clear, as the insiders claim, they love Archie and Lilibet more than anything; and that’s what matters.
