Sophie Turner Has Officially Responded to the Chris Martin Dating Rumors

Truly, not everything is as it seems, especially with reported Hollywood relationships like Chris Martin and Sophie Turner. While many reported (and heavily believed) they were going full send in a new relationship after Martin’s on-and-off relationship with Dakota Johnson ended, Turner seemingly revealed the truth behind the reports.

In a recent interview with Net-a-Porter, the Game of Thrones alum shared the reality of her dating life in recent months: nonexistent. She revealed, “I mean, I haven’t seen my friends or gone on a date in weeks, months! I just sack off parts of my life sometimes. I only have the capacity for work and family right now. But I’m working on it. I’ll get there.”

She also briefly discussed the dating rumors, saying, “It’s a total fishbowl. And people take so much as fact these days. Any article that comes out, people go, ‘Right, that must have happened.’”

Now, the story went that months after Martin’s split from Johnson, and a month after Turner’s reported split from Peregrine “Perry” Pearson, they allegedly went on a date a week. Turner has been a vocal Coldplay fan forever, but it was unclear how they met. Then, eyewitnesses claimed Turner was seeing someone else, putting a question mark around the whole affair.

But now, in Jan 2026, it seems Turner and Martin were never an item, especially since Turner is so focused on working and being a mom of her two daughters she shares with ex-husband Joe Jonas.
