The Klarer ‘yellow’ (27 replies)

Apologies if already covered. As Sky thought that Klarer was booked in the 49th minute and this was recorded on every stats site online for at least an hour after the match, how does that work? With bets etc?
Later it was changed to Leonard. Now clearly rewatching the match you can see the ref point the yellow card and say 12. And then later Klarer gets red. Does everyone just assume Sky are right and no one actually reports it accurately during the match. Surely the 4th official is miked up and hears the ref say 12.
When does it actually get recorded correctly? Does this happen very often? This wasn’t mistaken identity by ref which I have seen.
