Tissot Reveals Stunning Dive Watches That Are Surprisingly Affordable

That’s what Tissot has been able to create with its Seastar collection, a watch that is more a companion than a fashion statement. Now, the Swiss brand has rolled out six new additions to the 70-year-old line that fits every lifestyle—and, shockingly, most budgets.

Tissot—a brand that’s been around for over 172 years—first rolled out the Seastar collection in 1952 as it pursued creating a truly great water resistant timepiece. The latest additions bring brand fans six new options that showcases a new case size that perfectly fills that middle ground of noticeable without being ostentatious. The 38mm Seastar Chronograph continues all the traditions that have made the line one of the brand’s most coveted, from them being water resistant up to 300 meters (1,000 feet) to designs that catch the light and make each watch a reliable partner to its wearer no matter where they find themselves—be that a boardroom, a dinner date, or rocking bo as the sun crosses the horizon.

All of the six new editions to the Seastar collection include unidirectional rotating bezels as well as cases with hour and minute hands coated in Super-LumiNova. One model features a stainless steel case with a vertically brushed silver and white gradient dial and a white silicone strap. Another pairs a teal dial with a PVD rose gold case and teal silicone strap. There are also two all-black editions, one one silicone, the other on steel. The last two editions are stainless steel and stainless steel with yellow gold PVD coating.

At the heart of each watch is a Swiss quartz movement, which uses a Renata 394 battery. They are priced between $550 and $625 and can be purchased via Tissot’s official website.
