Most Popular Baby Names of 2025 Revealed in New Study
The most popular baby names of 2025 so far have been revealed and two names in particular have made it into the top 10 after missing out last year.
The list, which was compiled by Baby Center based on the submissions of 500,000 new parents who are registered to the site, sees James making a comeback into the top 10 after a three-year absence.
James jumped up one spot in total from last year. Leo fell out of the top 10 as a result, but that was the only change for boys.
For girls, Aurora has made its way into the top 10 after being No. 12 in 2024. While the rest of the list contains the same names from last year, Sophia and Emma did swap spots, and Ellie jumped Ava and Mia, also.
