Netflix Cancels New York City Premiere for Cameron Diaz & Jamie Foxx's 'Back in Time' Amid California Fires
The New York City premiere for Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx‘s new Netflix movie Back in Time will no longer take place.
On Wednesday (January 8), Netflix announced that the premiere had been cancelled amid the devastating fires that are currently plaguing California.

“Due to the tragic fires we will be canceling our Back in Action New York City premiere. We recognize many in our industry and their loved ones are currently affected and our thoughts are with them at this time,” Netflix said in a statement shared with Variety. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.”
Back in Action brings an end to Cameron‘s 11-year acting break. She explained her decision to step back from Hollywood in an interview last year.
Here’s a synopsis for the movie: “Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily and Matt find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.”
