Daniel Sturridge Reportedly Set for Liverpool Stay Amid Danny Ings Loan Rumours
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reportedly has no intention of allowing striker Daniel Sturridge to leave the club in January, with Danny Ings set to depart on loan.
According to Darren Lewis of the Daily Mirror, the Reds boss wants Sturridge to stick around on Merseyside to provide cover for the second half of the season.
"It is understood only an offer in the region of £30 million would tempt the Reds into a U-turn despite the striker, 28, having just 18 months left on his contract," continued Lewis. "… Should Liverpool's valuation not be met, Sturridge is set to be used predominantly from the bench."
