Klay Thompson looked unstoppable to start against the Grizzlies
Heatin’ up!
When Klay Thompson is on, he is really on. Most teams around the league hope to avoid those stretches, but the Grizzlies couldn’t Wednesday night.
Thompson started the game 9-9 from the floor to score 25 points through a quarter and a half of the game against the Grizzlies on Wednesday night. He finished the half with 27 points on 10-12 shooting and hit three three pointers.
There were some shots that were just insane like this one.

Then there were easy looks like this.
Then there were shots where you’re like “How’d he get that off?”
But what may have been most impressive from Thompson was his passing. He faced a double team throughout the first half as soon as he caught the ball, but he made the defense play.

He barely put the ball on the floor, but he was able to rip the Grizzlies to shreds from his offensive gravity. He made almost every shot.
Send a double? Fine, he’ll pass. And you better not be too slow getting a hand up because if you are you’re toast.
We’ll see if he can continue his streak in the second half.
