There was always someone who offered to show you around and provide you with a brief overview of the Free To Play side of Runescape. They would then become your first friend online and stay there for the duration of your Runescape journey.
I send this person a reply telling them that I was found out and I will not utilize Jagex services(and I haven't really had any intentions to) in any way or contact them via email unless absolutely required. Soon after, I receive an email from Jagex. Jagex (which I assume to be the REAL Jagex) informs me that the initial email was sent by a fake person who had hidden their Jagex address. They claimed to be trying to scam me into my account.
Now I need to confirm, is this common? This fraud? Has anyone else received an email threatening a lawsuit from Jagex? I found it strange to receive this message and did not inform me about any previous account appeals which were rejected. Jagex 2012 Are they likely to file a lawsuit against me just to give my account away? Surely that buy RS gold would do the company more harm than good.
