MTA chairman found out about €80,000 Konrad Mizzi contract ‘from the media’
Former Malta Tourism Authority chairman Gavin Gulia told a parliamentary committee on Tuesday that he only found out disgraced minister Konrad Mizzi had been given a €80,000 consultancy contract with the authority “from the media”. Appearing before parliament’s public appointments committee, Gulia, who was at the helm of the authority at the time, said he was the one to rescind the controversial contract.
