East Bay man charged with murder in Walnut Creek shooting death
Gregory Prokopowicz, the 38-year-old East Bay man accused of fatally shooting his wife in Walnut Creek last week, was charged with first-degree murder Tuesday, officials said.
The charge carries an enhancement for personal and intentional discharge of a firearm, according to the Contra Costa County district attorney’s office.
The victim, 47-year-old Roselyn Policarpio, was shot multiple times on the 1900 block of First Avenue in Walnut Creek on Thursday, according to police.
