Nam kao ($6.95) is a generous salad of deep-fried rice balls and cubes of som moo, a cured, slightly sour, house-made pork sausage that is served with mint and cilantro and lettuce leaves for wrapping. Additional Lao offerings include noodle soups ($5.95 medium/$6.95 large) such as kao piak, a chicken soup with house-made noodles garnished with cilantro, green onion and fried garlic; and kao soy - wide, flat rice noodles, shredded cabbage, spicy ground pork and pork sausage in a slightly spicy broth.
