How major US stock market indexes fared on Thursday NEW YORK (AP) — Losses for energy and technology companies left most U.S. stocks lower on Thursday. The Dow Jones industrial average picked up 9.86 points, or less than 0.1 percent, to 22,026.10.

Fat Brands, the owner of restaurant brands Fatburger and chicken-wing chain Buffalo's Cafe, plans to sell shares to the public next month in an effort to raise $20 million. LONDON (AP) — Robert Hardy, a veteran British stage and screen actor who played Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge in the "Harry Potter" movies, has died. Between 1978 and 1990, Hardy played the eccentric veterinarian Siegfried Farnon in "All Creatures Great and Small," a popular TV series based on James Herriot's books about rural life in the Yorkshire Dales.
