DETROIT (AP) — A pastor who shot and killed a man who tried to attack him with a brick during a service at his storefront church was released without charge, Detroit police said Monday. Growth in China's gross domestic product has decelerated for four straight years and will likely keep slowing through 2017, according to the International Monetary Fund. Support for Tim Eyman’s Initiative 1366, on Washington’s November ballot, “appears to have evaporated with the summer heat,” according to a new statewide Elway Poll released Monday. Justin Cox-Sever, 22, of Tempe, Arizona, is accused of stuffing a bag with towels and reporting it as a suspicious package making beeping noises on a SkyWest Airlines flight from Minneapolis to Dickinson on Sept. 9, prompting a temporary shutdown of the Dickinson airport. Amazon is suing more than 1,000 people for advertising their services writing fake reviews for as little as $5 as it seeks to crack down on bogus reviews on its site. In the current litigation, the company is going after writers of the reviews themselves who have accounts on freelance marketplace Fiverr.com.

Weight Watchers said Monday that it signed a five-year deal with the former talk show host. The Oprah Winfrey Network, is paying about $43.2 million for a 10 percent stake in the weight loss company. The deal is part of Weight Watchers' plan to expand from being a weight loss company to "helping people lead a healthier, happier life," said Weight Watchers President and CEO Jim Chambers in a statement.
