Poll: Seattle voters are cool to rent control despite hot Council hearing
Voters in Seattle are wary about imposing rent control despite a drive by Seattle City Council members Kshama Sawant and Nick Licata to get legislators to remove a statewide rent control ban. The survey by EMC Research gave 450 likely August primary voters a pair of options. Would they support “strict rent control and capping costs to protect affordability”?
