Prime Minister dodges company tax cut questioning
The Prime Minister is refusing to say whether he will dump the government’s company tax cut plan if they are rejected by the Senate. Malcolm Turnbull avoided answering questions from the Opposition during Question Time and attacked Labor, saying they didn’t have a policy that would encourage businesses to invest money. The debate has resumed in the Senate on draft laws to slash the tax rate for all businesses from 30 to 25 percent.
