Where in the world did Steph and Ayesha Curry celebrate their 10th anniversary?
The Golden State Warriors golden couple didn't reveal the location of their glamorous 10th anniversary getaway, but it wasn't on this side of the world.
Steph and Ayesha Curry on Friday celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss in grand style, looking healthy, beautiful and stylish while vacationing somewhere in the world that has a white-sand beach and champagne and sunsets in settings out of a National Geographic spread.
“10 Yrs. My woman. Never a day goes by I’m not thankful for your presence, your beauty, your spirit! ” the Golden State Warriors star wrote in a caption for a series of glamorous photos of him and his wife. News also broke Tuesday that the two-time MVP had agreed to a four-year, $215 million contract extension to remain with Golden State through 2026. “Sexy as can be inside and out & continuing to show me how amazing our God is by the creation that you are,” he said.
On Ayesha Curry’s Instagram, the TV chef, cookbook author and lifestyle magazine publisher captioned one of her vacation photos: “My love! my adventure partner! My best friend! My confidant! My baby daddaaaay! My everything! 10 years married y’all.”
Neither reveals the location of their “adventure,” but the beach photos, cocktails and bikini shots of an enviably toned Ayesha suggest some place tropical.
Another photo shows the two in a jeep, sporting chic outdoor gear, including a safari hat for Steph. The photos suggest that the two are, well, on safari. For a sunset photo, the couple also pose against the backdrop of what looks like a wide, open grassland that’s characteristic of Africa.
An insignia on their jeep, moreover, suggests that the Currys are guests of Singita, an ecotourism and conservation company that operates luxury lodges in and near national parks in four African countries: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Tanzania.
And, yes, Tanzania National Parks gave away the Currys vacation spot, revealing that the couple probably vacationed at Singita’s Grumeti lodge, which is located next to Serengeti National Park.

The Singita lodges are “dedicated to environmentally conscious hospitality, sustainable conservation and the empowerment of local communities,” while offering guests tours into wilderness areas where they will have “a front row seat to the most spectacular wildlife sightings in the world.”
As guests of Singita, Steph, 33, and Ayesha Curry, 32, wouldn’t have been roughing it. The company’s Sasakwa Lodge is built in the style of “a stately Edwardian manor,” with silver candelabras, private cottages and wraparound verandas that offer “unrivaled savannah views.” Even Singita’s tented camps, “pared-back interpretations of traditional safari style,” consist of suites that feature a private meditation deck, an outdoor “sala” with daybeds, a private fitness area and refrigerators filled with “gourmet delights.
The Visit Tanzania Twitter account also reminded Steph Curry fans that this is his second trip to their country. He traveled to Tanzania in 2013 on a United Nations-sponsored mission to deliver mosquito nets, needed to help protect people from malaria, the leading killer of children in that country.

For their anniversary dinner, Steph and Ayesha were back at a beach, with Ayesha wearing a white lace mini-dress and Steph sporting a “rocket lobster” cabana shirt. Ayesha also shared a photo of their cake, with what looks like chocolate dripping off the top. The photo shows her seated next to a glass of chilled white wine, with the caption: “Celebrations, ghost crabs and Stephen on a boat.”
While Steph and Ayesha married on July 30, 2011, they actually met in a church youth group in Charlotte, North Carolina nine years earlier, when they were 15 and 14 years old, respectively.
Steph proposed to Ayesha in his parents driveway, and the couple tied the knot in the same church where they met, Essence said. They share three children together: son Canon W. Jack, 3, and daughters Ryan Carson, 6, and Riley, 9.
In one of her Instagram posts Ayesha also wrote: “I can’t wait to see what the next 50 has in store for us. Happy day happy day! We’ve been doing the most celebrating the past couple of days. July 30, 2011 to infinity and beyonnnnnnd.”
