Shares of Clovis Oncology Inc. tanked more than 22% in the extended session Tuesday after the Boulder, Colo.,-based biopharma company reported a wider-than-expected third-quarter loss and quarterly sales missed expectations. Clovis said it lost $89.9 million, or $1.71 a share, in the quarter, compared with a loss of $61 million, or $1.24 a share, in the third quarter of 2017.
