Die Zahl ist berauschend: Mehr als 400.000 Elektroautos hat China in den ersten Monaten des vergangenen Jahres verkauft. Das sind fast siebenmal so viele wie 2014. Damit werde heute etwa jedes zweite E-Auto im Reich der Mitte zugelassen, berichtet das Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft. Der Absatz von Elektroautos wachse damit noch schneller als der chinesische Automarkt insgesamt. Das mag beeindruckend klingen, hat aber einen schockierenden Hintergrund.

Übergewicht ist nicht nur ein optisches Problem für viele Betroffene — nicht selten leidet nicht nur das Selbstbewusstsein unter dem überflüssigen Gewicht, sondern der gesamte Körper. Schlaganfälle, Herzinfarkte und Diabetes sind wahrscheinlicher, je mehr ihr auf die Waage bringt. Dass schlanke Menschen nun erleichtert aufatmen können, heißt das aber noch lange nicht.

Wenn man den Statistiken glaubt, ist das sogar die Regel: „Zwei Drittel der Kaufentscheidungen werden spontan im Supermarkt gefällt“, schreibt das Portal „besserhaushalten.news“.

Während der Verkauf von Neuwagen in China und Europa zurückgeht, investieren immer mehr Automobilhersteller wie Volkswagen, Renault, Peugeot, Hyundai und Toyota große Summen in Nordafrika.
