In late March, US federal officials shut down a smuggling tunnel stretching more than 400 yards from Mexicali, Mexico, to Calexico, California, arresting four people and seizing more than 1,500 pounds of marijuana.

The tunnel's entrance on the Mexican side of the border was under the floor in El Sarape restaurant, and the opening on the US side was found under a tile floor in the front room of a three-bedroom home at 902 E. Third Street, located about 300 yards from the border. Читать дальше...

A FedEx worker accidentally shipped himself to Texas on April 15.

The employee, who was not named by the company, fell asleep while loading a plane in Tennessee.

Local FOX affiliate WREG reported that the employee did not wake up until just before the plane landed in Texas.

He reportedly scared the flight crew when he began banging on the cockpit door.

The Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw has been suspended one game by the NHL and fined $5,000 for using a gay slur during their Game 4 loss to the St. Louis Blues in the opening round of the playoffs.

After being penalized for interference in the third period, Shaw appears to yell, "f*** you, you f****** f*****," at somebody not seen on the screen. A few moments later, Shaw appeared to yell something similar while sitting in the penalty box.

The battle between UPS and some of its pilots is getting more intense.

The union representing pilots for the logistics and shipping giant has opened a "strike center" near the company's Louisville, Kentucky air hub after long negotiations have failed to broker a deal.

"For five years, UPS has thumbed its nose at the negotiation process," President of the Independent Pilots Association (IPA) and UPS pilot Robert Travis said in a statement. Читать дальше...

Yum Brands, the parent company of Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken, announced earnings Wednesday and crushed expectations.

The company posted adjusted earnings of $0.95 per share against analyst expectations of $0.83 per share.

Revenue came in just a tiny bit below expectations at $2.62 billion versus analysts calls for $2.66 billion.

Additionally, the company raised its profit growth guidance to 12% growth in 2016 from 10%.
