Vanity Fair released the cover of its 2016 Hollywood Issue on Monday, and the stunning image features a powerhouse group of 13 actresses.

The issue's portfolio focused on presenting "raw, intimate, and honest" portraits of the actresses, explained Vanity Fair's style director, Jessica Diehl. The photos, taken by Annie Leibovitz, were "dismissive of the shackles of airbrushing and Picasso’d Photoshop manipulations."

Real-estate mogul Donald Trump began his final campaign rally Monday by urging his supporters to be on the lookout for any protesters throwing tomatoes.

"So I got a little notice in case you see," he said in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. "The security guys, we have wonderful security guys. They said, 'Mr. Trump, there may be somebody with tomatoes in the audience.'"

Private-equity firm Silver Lake Partners is not interested in a Twitter deal, Fortune reported.

Silver Lake was reported to have "considered" teaming up with venture capitalist Marc Andreessen for some kind of a deal to buy Twitter, according to a report by The Information on Sunday. The report sent Twitter's shares popping as much as 12% at one point in Monday trading.

The United Nations' envoy to Syria admitted in a confidential memo that the UN would be unable to monitor or enforce any kind of ceasefire that comes out of negotiations in Geneva, Foreign Policy's Colum Lynch reported last weekend.

The memo, entitled the "Draft Ceasefire Modalities Concept Paper," asserted that Syria will still be far too dangerous following the talks for UN peacekeeping forces to monitor a ceasefire without significant risk to their own lives.

Morgan Stanley lead auto analyst and reliable Tesla bull Adam Jonas got a bit less bullish on Monday when he lowered his target price to $333 a share from $450.
