Police seized nearly $7 million worth of cocaine from a tomato shipment at a North Side warehouse last month, prosecutors said Wednesday.

The bust was part of an ongoing federal drug investigation into cocaine trafficking in Chicago, Assistant State's Attorney Michael Vojta said during a bond hearing Wednesday.

Jorge Dominguez, 49, and Salvador Abundis, 47, were arrested this week and charged with calculated criminal drug conspiracy.

Actress Kate del Castillo, at the center of a Mexican money-laundering probe after she helped Hollywood star Sean Penn interview drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzmán in October, said Mexico's government wants to "destroy her," Univision reported over the weekend.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli elder statesman Shimon Peres was hospitalized on Sunday for a second time in as many weeks after complaining of chest pains, an aide said.

Peres, who was released from hospital last week after suffering a heart attack on Jan. 14, was conscious and the hospitalization was a precautionary measure, Peres aide Ayelet Frisch told Reuters.

According to one Ikea executive, we’ve hit “peak stuff.”
