Two committees to be set up in Armenian parliament for scrutinizing illegal enrichment and March 1 crime
Two committees will be set up in the Armenian National Assembly for scrutinizing illegal enrichment and the March 1 bloody events, Zhamanak reports referring to its own sources.
According to the media source, the deal of the country’s gas supply system handover to Russia as well as gas supplies to Armenia’s population and money embezzlement will be among the illegal enrichment investigation committee’s top-priority focuses.
The committee will also consider legality of the privatization of the most expensive territories in downtown Yerevan and legality of construction on these territories.
The second committee will be headed by Andranik Kocharyan, who was a member of the group gathering facts over the March 1 crime and who knows very well the evidence that proves involvement of tycoons’ bodyguards in the crime. -0---
