The relations between Russia and Armenia are very important. This means that there are no doubts that Russia and Armenia are friendly nations, but this does not mean that there are no problems in our relations. We do not intend nbsp;to criticize these problems, but to look for their solutions through dialogue and negotiations,’ he said.br

In respect to the Nagorno-Karabakh and the sale of arms to Azerbaijan by Russia, he said the balance of military force between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been violated, and Russia willingly or unwillingly has contributed to it. nbsp;He also said that such issue as Armenia's withdrawal from the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union should be decided only through referendum.br

We intend to do everything that is in Armenia's interests, but we are not going to make any drastic geopolitical reversals and movements, because I think that now is not the time for this, Pashinyan said.br
According to him, Armenia’s foreign policy will be built exclusively on the interests of Armenia and the Armenian people.br

Nikol Pashinyan stated also that he does not see any problems with the presence of a Russian military base in Armenia.br
