“Matt Hancock dived around questions and came out and said ‘I’m basically asking for forgiveness’ and I had to walk out of camp because I got so…
“I had to separate Matt Hancock Mp from the the trial, because as a camp mate he did an amazing job and as a guy he lives in a different world to you and me, but he’s human, so I had to have two people, but that’s the only way myself and some of us could deal with it.”
Chris continued to explain that he tried to get Matt to admit he “wouldn’t be a politician” after the show.
He continued: “I also tried to get him to admit he won’t be a politician anymore after this, but he wouldn’t. I went on there being honest this is my show this is what I do. Seann went in there to say he’s not a love rat.
“I didn’t feel he was honest with why he was doing the show he wouldn’t answer certain questions he would pivot, avoid asking are you still going to be an MP, still going to be in politics and he would dance around it.”
