More than 1,000 children at a school in Wales were sent home from classes today after a gun threat on social media.
A picture of someone holding a hand gun along with the message ‘Don’t come to school tomorrow’ had earlier been sent to pupils at St Julian’s School in Newport, Gwent, via Snapchat.
Senior staff shut the building as a ‘precautionary measure’ after parents raised the alarm.
