Griffin’s jab came on Twitter in response to a tweet that said Trump told reporters he doesn’t use insulin, which diabetics use to keep their blood sugar at safe levels.

“I don’t use insulin,” Trump said at the White House on Wednesday. “Should I be? Huh?”
“I never thought about it. But I know a lot of people are very badly affected, right? Unbelievable.”
Trump doesn’t have any known history of diabetes.
That’s when Griffin, 59, suggested Trump should inject “air” instead of insulin.

“F**K TRUMP,” the comedian added.
In 2017, Griffin came under fire for releasing a video that showed her holding what looked like Trump’s bloody, severed head.
Griffin initially said the project was an “artsy farty statement” that was mocking Trump.
She also said it was a response to Trump’s remark years ago that former Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of wherever.”
She was quickly fired from multiple jobs but later said she’ll continue to make fun of Trump[/caption]
But Griffin apologized, saying: “I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people.”
Trump tweeted that Griffin “should be ashamed of herself” for posting the images.
Griffin was fired by CNN for her decade-long gig hosting the network’s Times Square live New Year’s Eve special she had co-hosted annually since 2007 with Anderson Cooper.

She also lost several other jobs after the Trump fiasco, including a commercial endorsement deal and comedy specials.
Griffin later claimed she was contacted by the Secret Service because of the video, and said the Trumps are “trying to ruin my life forever.”
She said Trump “broke me” but then later said: “I’m not laying down for this guy. “I’m going to keep making jokes about this guy.”
