Jack Whitehall returns as host for the 40th year of the annual music awards.
Sir Rod Stewart is the superstar chosen this year to close the show after celebrating 50 years in showbiz.
The show-stopping line-up already includes Grammy Award-winning singer, Billie Eilish, 18, Harry Styles, 26, US star, Lizzo, 31, and Brit man-of-the-moment Lewis Capaldi, 23.
The celebrations – being filmed live at London’s O2 Arena tonight – have meant that Love Island will air later than usual.
It is being replaced by 20-year-old film Coyote Ugly on ITV2 between 8-10pm.
Five couples are at risk of being dumped from the villa this evening after being voted the “least compatible” by their fellow Islanders.
The seven remaining couples were each tasked with voting for the two couples they felt were the least compatible and had to give their answers in front of the group.
The only pairs not to receive a vote and are now safe from the dumping are Paige Turley and Finn Tapp and Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman.
It means one couple from Jamie McCann and Natalia Zoppa, Callum Jones and Molly Smith, Luke Mabbott and Demi Jones, Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu and Jess Gale and Ched Uzor will be sent home.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide.
It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.
If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:

Tonight’s rescheduling follows last night’s emotional episode which paid tribute to the late Caroline Flack who found dead after taking her own life at her flat in North East London, on Saturday.
Devastated narrator Iain Stirling fought back tears as he described the late star as a “true friend” and said he was going to miss her.
Spoken over footage of the ocean, Iain said: “We are all devastated that Caroline, a much loved member of our Love Island family, has passed away.
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this dreadful time.”
